Deena Kusi’s Experience as Trustee for The StoneGrove Community Trust
9th November 2023
This Trustees’ Week, we’d like to introduce you to Deena Kusi – Trustee of the wonderful Stonegrove Community Trust and OneStonegrove Community Centre. As a young resident of Edgeware, Deena’s bond with the community helps make this wonderful initiative the heart of Stonegrove!
In this video interview, we discover the remarkable community resources available at OneStonegrove, see some of the community events in action and hear about Deena’s journey to becoming a young Trustee. Of particular note is her deep connection to the residents of Stonegrove and the initiatives she is part of, that inform her Trusteeship today.
The Stonegrove Community Trust was established in 2014, culminating in the opening of OneStonegrove to the local community in the summer of 2016. Functioning as a resident-led charitable organization, they operate in collaboration with St. Peter’s Church, Peabody, Stonegrove Estates Youth Project, and F.U.S.E Youth Project among others.
